Sunday dinner, transportation and practical information

Dear Delegates,

We are nearly there and looking forward very very much to a great event!

Dinner Sunday:

We will cover a traditional meal of Maultaschen on the Conference budget Sunday night, but we need to know numbers. So please let us know as soon as possible if you

• would to take this meal in the restaurant (kitchen closes 20.30)
• would like to have a meal put aside for late arrival. If you can email us to indicate we would appreciate it very much

Travel:

Due to groundstaff issues all flight I have taken in the last month were delayed. Be mindful if you are arriving late, this can inconvenience onward travel. If you are delayed and booked a meal just let us know.

What is on the website but we did not communicate by email: Germany has a flat rate available for travel of regional public transport of €9 for the entire month. You can use this on all trains and buses except for ICE/IC, including all trains Stuttgart-Reutlingen and airport bus.

Weather:

Is looking wet but changeable, in addition to swimmers, dancing shoes, hiking shoes, bring a rain jacket.

Covid:

Germany has no longer any restrictions (except for masks required on public transport), which means we do not test and do not need to wear masks. This also means that we cannot guarantee that no one will be infected. If you are worried feel free to wear a mask. Hopefully there will be no problem, I have just enjoyed three great conferences – but of course no quarantines, this is life as it is now.
